URLA NAUTICAL ARCHAEOPARK

Situated on the coast of Urla, this project reinterprets an archaeological excavation site by uniting an archaeopark and a lighthouse within a single complex. Designed to preserve and reveal the site simultaneously, the proposal provides the necessary facilities while minimizing physical intervention in the excavation area.

Elevated walkways and viewing platforms allow visitors to experience the archaeological remains in their original context without disturbing the natural terrain.

By integrating heritage, public engagement, and wayfinding into a single architectural form, the project offers an immersive cultural experience, where visitors can explore excavation areas, exhibitions, and observation terraces, culminating in panoramic views of the city from the lighthouse.
