MONGOLIA
ECO-GHER
This project draws inspiration from the traditional yurts of Mongolia, reinterpreted through a modern and eco-friendly architectural approach.
Designed by a four-person team, the project responds to Mongolia’s harsh climate and living conditions through careful orientation based on the sun’s movement and the north–south axis, the use of thermal mass, a chimney system, and a south-facing greenhouse that supports food production while providing passive heating. for adjacent spaces.
Conceived as an Airbnb accommodation, the project offers a functional, comfortable, and environmentally responsive living space that remains pleasant in both summer and winter.

Greenhouse positioned on the south side to maximize sunlight for growing herbs, vegetables, and fruits.Functions as a passive heating source, warming adjacent rooms through thermal mass and opened openings.Offers a pleasant living space in both summer and winter.
